Customers rave about the chili and potato bites, which deliver a crispy, spicy punch that excites the palate, as noted by regular diner Tima Laher who calls them "absolutely amazing." The cheese samosas, golden and flaky, provide a perfect balance of melted cheese with aromatic spices, making them a signature snack that beckons you back again and again.

Beyond snacks, the restaurant boasts a variety of freshly prepared vegetarian dishes and traditional Indian sweets, which regulars like Anesh Kaloo appreciate as both authentic and affordable. The menu varies daily, reflecting the availability of fresh vegetables and regional specialties, ensuring every visit can bring a new discovery.

While the restaurant excels in its food quality and offerings, some guests, like Feroza Roza Vally, have noted operational improvements such as clearer signage on pricing would enhance the overall customer experience. Nonetheless, the commitment to excellent service remains evident throughout.

Affordable pricing makes Kara Nichhas an accessible culinary gem for families, students, and busy professionals alike. The combos are especially praised for value, making this an ideal spot for a quick, satisfying meal without compromising on taste or authenticity.

I go there for the chili and potatoe bites that are absolutely amazing. The cheese samosas are also tops. I definitely will be going back to try more.

This is one of my favourite vegetarian take away. The prices are super affordable and the combos are great .The food is Indian cuisine but mild enough for most to enjoy .If you need a little more "sting" in your food you can purchase a small pack "pickled chillies "and add it to your food.It is delicious.

Overall fantastic service but disappointed that rotis went up by R 12.00 per doz !! I always buy 2 to 3 dozen at a time and was disappointed that there was no sign or notice put up informing customers abt the increase. In fact the old sign with R 30.00 a doz was still up. When advising staff abt it they said that they not allowed to change the sign and spoke amongst themselves that the manager should change it as I was not the 1st person to enquire abt that

Excellent vegetarians food affordable. Have a variety of dishes. Thank you

If you looking for traditional Indian sweets and fresh made vegetarian dishes definitely the place to go. Wide variety of foods and sweet treats available. Well priced as well.

Indian vegetarian take away restaurant. Only veg, no meat served. Restaurant serves a variety of Indian sweet meats as well. Priced well and menu varies daily, pending availability of the vegetables. Service is good, staff are friendly and helpful. Expect an extended wait during busy periods such as lunch times and dinner.
